When the shoulders are opened at 90 degrees, if you maintain tension within the range of 60-130 degrees, the latissimus dorsi gets torn. If you push down too much or stretch too much below that, the head of the bone rotates and the tone is lost.

It seems there is a debate in the comments. It's not one set for one side, but one set for each side. Therefore, both sides need to be done for it to be a complete set.
