Is it correct to feel stimulation in the area where the armpit connects to the chest?

Doesn't this posture seem off? While it can be done standing up, usually the posture involves bending the knees and keeping the back straight, which engages the muscles from the starting point.

If I put 20kg on each side, should I write 40kg or 60kg?
Is this good for low weight and high repetitions, or high weight and low repetitions? They say to do 10 kilos, but I really don't think I can complete the reps.
