try sitting straighter and engaging your scapula. Basically try pinching your shoulder blades together.
maybe go lighter higher reps and slow don't start using body momentum for pulling and on release slow for sure you should feel it
leaning into the release, you will feel it in your lats.
keep the chest out and back straight and focus on squeezing your elbows to your sides when pulling to engage the lats.
try keeping your back straight when pulling
