It's a motion in which you lie on your side and move your legs up and down. It's a workout that makes your sides and thighs well-toned!

How to Side Leg Raise

Starting Position

1. Lie on your side and place both hands on the floor.

2. Engage your core and lift your body so that only your toes and hands touch the floor.

Proper Form

1. Slowly lift your foot away from the floor.

2. Slowly return to the starting position.

Breathing Technique

Exhale when you raise your legs, and inhale when you lower them.

Precautions

If it's too difficult, try doing it lying on your side without lifting your body.
